Endpoints

Prices are per account, per month, billed by invoice. Plan limits are the defaults we provision and can be adjusted per agreement. The consumer app is a separate subscription ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) and is not included in an API plan.

The data layer, security model, and accounting are the same at every tier — plans differ in endpoint access and volume.
Multi-source data

Scores are derived at call time from the latest ingested surveillance data — no nightly snapshot to wait on.
Hashed API keys
Keys are prefixed mrm_, stored as SHA-256 hashes, and scoped to the endpoints your plan allows.

Questions we get asked
What happens if I exceed my included calls?
Starter is hard-capped: once the included 5,000 calls are used in a billing period, requests return a 429 until the period resets or you move to Growth. Growth and Pro accounts are configured for overage billing at the rate agreed during onboarding.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes — the three public endpoints are free and keyless, so you can build and test the integration shape before any contract. Paid evaluations and pilots are scoped case by case with our partnerships team.
How are rate limits enforced?
Per-minute and per-day limits are stored on your key and checked against your logged usage on every request. Published tier limits are the defaults we provision; they can be raised per account.
Is there a support SLA?
Not a published one. Support is email-based through partnerships@myriskmeter.app, and response commitments are written into Pro agreements rather than advertised here.
Can prices change?
We may update pricing as the product evolves. Existing customers get at least 30 days notice before any change takes effect on their account, and the new rate only applies at your next billing cycle after that notice period.
How does this relate to the consumer app?
The app is a separate consumer subscription ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) with personalized scoring. The API licenses the underlying surveillance and scoring layer for your own product.
What data sources power the platform?
CDC NNDSS case reporting, CDC NWSS wastewater surveillance, CDC NHSN hospital admissions, government travel advisories, EPA air quality, and credibility-weighted outbreak news.
